So, have you played prismatic singleton online at all? It's pretty fun, though the quality of the decks can vary pretty dramatically since there is no casual-tournament divide, and it's inherently Classic. Prismatic is the online implementation of 5-color. Decks are minimum 250 cards, with 20 cards of each color required (though gold/hybrid cards count as both, so you can streamline this quite a bit). The singleton variant is exactly what it sounds like. I put together a deck a little while ago and played around with it a bit, but for every dork like me who just threw together a random sampling of his collection there are 2 or 3 dudes with pretty tricked out, powerful builds (often foiled, for some reason). It's pretty annoying to go up against that too often and I didn't feel like investing the time and money in making something quite a bit more streamlined, so I stopped playing the format.
I logged in the other day, though and there was someone advertising for a Pauper Prismatic Singleton game, which is commons only. Pretty restrictive, but doable. I just basically stripped all the rares and uncommons out of my deck and went through my collection, adding stuff at random til I hit 150 (100 lands, don'tcha know?). It's actually a really fun format to play. A couple of observations.
-Sprout Swarm is basically game over, because honestly, your options are (1) mass removal, (2) targeted discard. Who the hell wants to play with targeted discard? And mass removal? Not so common at common. Although we are getting Festercreep in Morningtide.
-Big dumb wurms and sea serpents are pretty good. So are counterspells.
-The format might be a little too random. Prismatic bans the transmute cards, which finally put tutoring in the hands of Pauper players. Hmm...
-Lightning Bolt!
Anyways, if you like casual formats, this is a pretty good one. I feel like it has a distinct advantage over regular Prismatic Singleton, since competitive decks can be built relatively cheaply.
