Sorry Fugie

http://www.starcitygames.com/php/news/article/14914.html

Even Jahn is against you:

" I have tried all kinds of strange and funky things in these decks — even to the extent of playing Living End. (Withered Wretch can turn it from “truly sucky” to just “pretty much sucks.”)"

And he is head judging so you will get your chance to prove him wrong.

The reason Living End sucks in his opinion is he was trying to fit it into his rock deck, not build around it. I know Pete, and that's definitely what he was getting at.

Fugie: What about Makeshift Mannequin? That Squirrel Chatterer guy has an evoke deck with the Mannequin in it. Maybe it would help your deck be less reliant on the Living End strategy.

At this point in the game, regardless of how techy the strategy may be, it's too late to audible into something you don't know.

Though if one man could do it, it'd be our own resident Fugitive Wizard

Even better than the mannequin, I think, is grim harvest. The repeatable shriekmaw seems good.

Repeatable Shriekmaw is a MBC deck (of which I expect one or two at states). Makeshift Mannequin is cute as it works, but I have my list, I just need to fine tune slots, which is proving to be a pain in the ass. The trick is not to be reliant on LE. I don't need the LE to resolve to win, plus it acts as a Damnation and if set up right lets me swing for 20 when it resolves. I have yet to decide how to board though.
