Why would you use this with Mana Severance? If you take out your lands, it doesn't get bigger and it just reads, "Reveal the top card of your library every upkeep".
I am fully aware of the fact that this loses to counterspells. This is a Johnny deck. It will not work consistently. It is easy to disrupt. I played Etchings in Standard.

I can see Fury Charm as a 1-of.
I know there are a thousand outs to this strategy. I don't care. Drekavac+Dark Withering is broken. Sorry, wrong deck.

But I was playing on mws today... and an aggro loam guy played this on turn 2 off a birds... on turn 3 he swung with a 9/9. And got him though a land pocket.
This guy is DUMB! As of right now I'm willing to say he is one of the best creatures ever. Probably not as good as Tog, Bob, or Goyf. But not that far behind.

When this was a Pokemon deck, it only lost to the good players.

There's a deck for Mewtoo out there, I just don't think it looks like this.
You lose to Runesnag, Cancel, etc.
And no, Fathom Trawl doesn't kill you. You die in the following draw step.
