On anonymity and this blog

It's so bizarre. I, and all my co-bloggers, post pseudonymously and yet, when somebody posts a comment with a pseudonym, I am possessed with a righteous fury, "Who is that person? And why do they think they can post here without giving a name?!?" Then I remember...and I am like, "Oh. Right."
